Someday Is Now
On March 8th 2019, the United States Women's National Team (USWNT) filed a gender-discrimination lawsuit against the U.S. Soccer Federation. Luna Bar who has been a trailblazer in the fight for equal pay wanted to solve the pay gap immediately. Luna Bar paid each player on the USWNT $31,250, the difference between the men's and women's teams salaries. This campaign was Shortlisted for Cannes Top-15, 2019.
I was tasked with photographing Megan, Alex and Christen before and during press conferences, as well as create motion graphics for the Cannes Film Festival. It was a pleasure to meet and photograph Megan Rapinoe, Alex Morgan and Christen Press. They were wonderful to work with and are great advocates, role models, and humans.
